A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the bird's price is required to reserve a bird. Reservations are only accepted once chicks are confirmed. Once your deposit is placed we will send you weekly update pictures and videos of your baby. The final payment is due once your bird is weaned and ready to go home.

Yes. Local pickup is available for buyers willing to drive to us. As a closed aviary we meet at an agreed-upon location in Palm City, Florida. Full payment is required prior to pickup. We also have transport available to those within Florida; price varies.

Yes. Luma Aviaries ships hand-raised parrots throughout the contiguous United States via Delta Cargo's live animal service. Birds travel in airline-approved shipping containers. You pick up your bird at your nearest Delta Cargo-served airport. A valid government-issued ID is required at pickup. Shipping starts at $200.

If you're unable to take your bird home immediately after it is weaned and ready, we offer boarding at $7 per day, prepaid. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements extended boarding availability is not guaranteed and is subject to space.
