Temperament & suitability

Senegals are affectionate, playful, and highly intelligent, often described as "one-person birds" who form an intense bond with their primary caregiver. They tend to be quieter than many parrots, making them well-suited to apartment living. Early socialization with multiple people helps balance their natural loyalty. Expect a curious, sometimes mischievous companion who thrives on routine and mental enrichment.
